The Sharps Program at Kings Harbor

A free, community service program for the collection of home-generated needles, syringes and lancets.

Beginning July 1, 1996, Kings Harbor Care Center has participated in the community Sharps program. You can bring containers of used needles, syringes and lancets to 2355 Ely Avenue the last Friday of each month from 12:00pm to 1:00pm at the housekeeping office located on the 1st floor. All Sharps must be contained in a rigid, puncture-resistant container secured with a screw top and labeled "contains needles" or "biohazard". Do Keep container away from children.
